Govt of the Punjab School Education Department has issued Notification No. SO (SE-III) 2-26/2010 dated 18th July 2013 in connection with the Enrollment Campaign 2013. The purpose of this notification is to achieve 100% student’s enrollment of children of 5 to 16 years old.
Various steps have already been taken by the Punjab Govt School Education Department to achieve the said goal. Phase-I of the said project has already been completed by 31st May 2013 and this second Phase will begin on 14th August 2013 to onward. The DPI (EE) and DPI (SE) shall ensure that:
- 100% Enrollment of Out of School Children (Five to Nine Years) in schools.
- 100% retention of enrolled students.
- 100% re-admission of students (Five to Nine Years) who left schools without completing/passing terminal exams in their respective classes if his/her age is according to the students of class and
- Co-ordinate with DEOs enrollment throughout the campaign.
