Notification of Grant of Farewell Grant on 20 Years Service instead of 25 Years

Government of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat Establishment Division has already issued Notification No. F.No.5/15/2011-Admn-III dated 7th November 2012 in connection with the Grant of Farewell Grant on 20 Years Service instead of 25 Years.

Earlier this farewell grant was awarded to the employee who retired after completing 25 years service.  But now according to this Notification employee who retired after completing 20 years continuous service is entitled to get the Farewell grant. This farewell grant is one of the Assistant Packages for the Federal Govt Employees.

According to this Notification, a sum equal to one month’s pay shall be paid out of Benevolent Fund to an employee, if he/she proceeds on retiring pension after Twenty Years Service on or after first day of September 2012.

  2. Do you posses notification or circular stpulating restoration of commuted value of pension to civil servants on attainig the age of 75 years who served in Sindh government departments. Really speaking,there are a good number of employees who are running from pillar to post to obtain their rightful claim of restoration in their life. I hope you will help in this connection.

    I am a UDC in an Organisation which is attached department of Federal Govt. Since more than 23 years we are on the same. The reason is non-availability of any senior Billet that is neither created nor tried to create by Our organisation, our UDCs are serving since decades .
    How secure is our employee in this concern (by any law to claim for all this)… ????
    How much our organization is liable for creating additional billets for our promotion ??
    Even two of us are availing the last pay limit of their Pay Scales … What will be the solution ???
    Our organisation has no Recruitment Policy
    No Promotion Policy
    No Medical Policy, etc ,etc..
    They are not giving us the Long Term Advances Facilities too…
    Even the GP fund started to cut down in 2001 (so late), the employees has no sufficient amount in their Balances that can be helpful to them on retirement.
    E.g. Senior most udc having service of 24 years only having 97 thousand Balance in his GP Fund Account

    ABove all i have write all these problems to u on many pages but all in vain…
    Is the retiring Service has changed into 20 years. Can u give us the notification … Thnx
