    AoA Dear

Plz tell me about Group insurance when it would be given to employee on retirement ???? or in case of death will be given to family.

    thanx...........

    • Dear Ayaz Shah, it is granted on death cases.

      • Agha Amir says:

Two kinds of payments are admissible out of Group Insurance Fund.

First, upon death of the employee in service, the sum assured is paid.

Second, upon retirement on invalid pension on medical grounds, a lump sum payment is made on the scale given in 9th schedyle.

These payments are apart from the monthly and other grants out of Ben Fund

        Agha Amir

ps This relates to the Federal GI & BF . I am not sure if Provincial GI & BF also provide for second kind of lump payment (upon invalid pension).

Shall be grateful if someone explains the Provincial GI & BF position on invalid retirement.
