Government of the Sindh, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD(SR-III)3-230/2013(Provl.) dated 15^th July 2014 in connection with Notification of Increase in Pension 2014 for the Sindh Govt pensioners.

There is a 10% increase in pension for the Sindh Govt pensioners with effect from 1^st July 2014.

Here is to mention that there is only increase in pension not in the medical allowance for the pensioners. Medical Allowance has already been frozen wef 30-06-2011. So the calculation of 10% increase will be in the following manner:

Increase in Pension in 2014= (Net Pension – Medical Allowance) x 10%

It means 1^st we ll minus the Medical Allowance from the net pension and the result will be multiplied by 10%.

The increase in pension allowed to the pensioners during 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 will also be continued.
