University of the Punjab has issued Notification No. 7972-77/Est.II dated 20-03-2015 in connection with Grant of BPS-17 to the Supervisory Staff of the University of Punjab.
According to this Notification the Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punajb has been pleased to order that the Notification No. FD/PC 14-19/2014 dated 04-03-2015 issued by the Finance Department Govt of the Punjab is adopted mutatis mutandis.
Now the supervisory staff of the University of Punjab having BPS-16 have been granted BPS-17 time scale. They will have no right for the premature increment as well as House Rent Allowance and Medical Allowance of the BPS-17.
Special Thanks to Mr. Abdul Raoof Khuram Administrative Officer University of Sargodha for sending the copy of the Notification of Grant of BPS-17 to the Supervisory Staff of the University of Punjab.

Jo notification superintendent ko upgrade krny wala issue hua ha is may supervisory post k lye BPS-16 or Special Pay Rs.100 condition kaha tha lakin university of education aur university of Punjab ny supervisory post jo ka sirf BPS-16 pay thy aur special pay nahi ly rhy un ko BPS-17 award kar dya ha.
Kya ya faisla thek ha ka jo special pay 100 nai ly rhy un ko bahi BPS-17 mily gay ?

Dear Adnan I think this is the decision of the University authorities. May be in future the clarification of the same be issued.
