Government of Khyber Pakhtunkha has issued Notification No. No. FD (SOSR-II)4-111/2015 dated 14-07-2015 in connection with increase in pension to civil servants of the province. In the same way Notification No. FD (SOSR-II)8-39/2015 dated 14-07-2015 has been issued regarding increase in Medical Allowance for the civil pensioners. The detail of Notification of Increase in Pension and Medical Allowance 2015 by KPK Govt is as under:

According to the Notification, there is 10% increase in pension for the KPK pensioners with effect from 1st July 2015.

According to the Notification there is 25% increase in the Medical Allowance for the pensioners. This increase will be on the running medical allowance of the pensioners.

we have an issue with our Medical allowance since 2014..details are as under:-
v (Office Assistants) were initially hired in BPS – 14 in the KP Right to Information Commission (our Commission, as doesn’t have Service Rules, therefore, adopted Service Rules of Civil Secretariat KP). later on, it is pertinent to mention that initially we were availing Rs. 1200/- Medical Allowance in BPS 14, but after upgradation to BPS 16, our Medical Allowance became decreased from 1200 to 909 (15% of the running basic pay of 2008), whereas, all the civil employees (Assistants) in BPS 16 got Rs. 1200/-. And after revised budget in 2015-16, Civil employees (Assistants) in BPS – 16 got Rs. 1500/- (25% of the medical allowance) but our Medical allowance increases from 909/- to 1136/-.
R/ madam.. it is to request you that what is the reason behind this anomaly. why all the other civil employees are getting Medical Allowance 1500/- and we are getting 1136/-. Now, we submit a joint application to the higher ups for change of medical allowance. but they want us to get a proof.
In this context, i visited Finance Department so many times but no one helping me out.
