my father has retired in 1978, when he was 45, he completed 25 years of his service, plz tell me he can avail benifit in respect of above notification?

    • Agha Amir says:

If he retired at the age of 45 years, he would have received commutation value 27.1990 years. So on expiry of 28 years, his commuted part was to be restored in 2006. Was application given for that benefit.

Yes, under the 1994 orders, commuted part is restorable on family pension also.

So on expiry of 24 years, the commuted part was restorable in 2001. Was that benefit claimed in time ?
