Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Order No. SO(SNE) PMIU/2013 dated 11-02-2016 in connection with Conversion of Pay Packages of Contract Employees of PMIU-PESRP & DMO.
According to this Notification, the competent authority i.e the Chief Minister is pleased to accord approval to the conversion of pay package of all contract employees of PMUI-PESRP and 36 DMO offices into equivalent basic pay scales of Government of the Punjab with effect from 15-03-2015 as per detail given below:

The pay of contract employees shall be fixed at the initial stage of the prescribed pay scale and increment (s) so earned, during the contract period shall be converted into personal allowance rather point to point fixation.
The will be entitled to draw 30% of their pay as social security benefit in lieu of pension without any other benefit i.e Pension, GP Fund etc.
