Notification of Grant of Utility Allowance for Officials Working in Civil Secretariat

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.SR-I.9-14/2002(P) dated 31-01-2017 in connection with Notification of Grant of Utility Allowance for Officials Working in Civil Secretariat.

According to this Notification, I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to grant Utility Allowance to all the employees in BPS-01 to BPS-16 and incumbents of the posts of Private Secretary BPS-17 & Superintendent BPS-17 working in Punjab Civil Secretariat and drawing pay from the payroll of Secretariat Departments with effect from 01-02-2017 at the following rates:

 

S.No Basic Pay Scale No Utility Allowance per month
1 BPS-01 to BPS-08 Rs.3000/-
2 BPS-09 to BPS-14 Rs.4000/-
3 BPS-15 Rs.5000/-
4 BPS-16, Private Secretaries BPS-17, Superintendents BPS-17 Rs.7000/-

 

The Utility Allowance will be paid on monthly basis along with salary.

  2. What about the officer BPS-17 and above!!!!!!!!!! whether they are not in trouble during these price hike-days!!!!!!!!!. Discrimination needs to be resolved

  4. CM Punjab se guzarish hy k Utility Allowance sb employees ko deny ka Notification jari kren, Ku k sb employees b Punjab men he rehtay hn Londan m ni.
