Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD (FR)II-2/89(P) dated 23-06-2017 in connection with Cheques Issued in June 2017 will be Payable on or before 7th July 2017. Detail is as under:
In exercise of the powers conferred upon him under article-119 of the Constitution of the Republic of Pakistan, 1973, the Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that in the Punjab Financial Rules, Volume-I, following relaxation will be allowed in Rule 2.16:
“One time dispensation of the Financial Year 216-17 shall be allowed in respect of cheques issued in June 217 to be payable on or before the 7th July 2017.
