Presentation & Finalization Date of Budget 2018 Pakistan (Tentative) has been issued by the Finance Division vide Notification No. D.O.No.F.1(253)DBA/2017 dated 18-12-2017. Summary is as under:

According to this Notification, date of presentation of Budget to the Cabinet and the Parliament is May 2018 (Tentative).
Date of Approval of Budget 2018 Pakistan
According to the newspaper daily Dunya, the date of approval of the budget is May 2018. The Federal and provincial budgets will be presented in May 2018 and will also be approved during the same month.
National Assembly and Punjab Provincial Assembly will complete its tenure on 31st May 2018 and Sindh, Balochistan and KPK Provincial Assemblies will complete its tenure on 28th May 2018. So the Government will try its best to present and approve the budget 2018 before the above mentioned dates.
If the Governments will delay in finalization of budget 2018-19 upto the above said dates, then they would not be able to present the same later and the caretaker Government will do the same.

Expectations of the Government Employees from Budget 2018-18
Government Employees are expecting the much increase in their salaries in this budget 2018-19. The main demand of the Government employees is increase in Hiring & House Rent Allowance as the same is on the basis of Revised Pay Scale 2018 and does not fulfill the present high rates of houses.

1- Government have to increase at least 15% pay but include in revised pay scales and also add adhoc relief 2016 and 2017 too in basic pay.
2- House rent should be according to the new pay scales 2018, but 45%in every city instead of 30%, House hiring ko tmam cities tak kea jay nahi tu km az km district level ky tmam cities ko lazmi hiring ke ejazat de jay
3- From a long Instruction allowance was not raise, so instruction Allowance should be according to the new pay scale’s basic pays and their maximum limits raises at least 4 times.

Minimum 40 percent increase in salary and should increase conveyance allce, compensation in lieu of quarter of pakistan army.

Government have to increase 50% in basic and in allowances because Government had not increased in previous budgets and this is last budget of PMLN as Zardari Government had already given 50% increase once time so also Nawaz government have a duty to increases 50% pay. Nawaz Sharif has taken 8 times loan more then Zardari Government (PPPP) but he has not given good benefit to government employees as inflation is being done in now a days
