Some rumors are in the field that Government of the Punjab Education Department has lifted ban on transfers / postings it is clarified that ban on transfers / postings still holds ibid. However, as per Transfer Police 2013 there is no ban on mutual transfer, transfer of widows and divorced after fulfillment of codal fomites.
