Government of the Punjab, Forestry Wildlife & Fisheries Department has issued letter on 22-02-2018 in connection with Demand of Forest Guards/Foresters Association. Summary is as under:

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that a delegation of Punjab Foresters & Forest Guards Welfare Association has a meeting with Minister, FW&D Department in the presence of Secretary, Additional Secretary (A) and Additional Secretary (Tech) on 15.02.2018. The worthy Minister discussed different demands made by the Association and desired that the same be taken up at the earliest, detailed as under:-

• Service Structure/Upgradation/Time Scale Promotion
• Provision of Motorcycle & POL
• Provision of Fixed Travelling Allowance
• Amendment in Forest Manual
• Auction of Canal Side Dead/Dry Trees
• Restoration of Firewood Allowance
• Establishment/Construction of Residential Colony
• Provision of Weapon/Grant of Risk Allowance
• Amendment in Forest Manual for Grant of Magisterial Powers
• Firewood Allowance
• Computerization of Payment of Salaries
