Government of Sindh Services, General Administration & Coordination Department has issued Notification on 05-06-2018 in connection with Ban on Posting Transfers Imposed by Election Commission of Pakistan. Detail is as under:
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that the Election Commission of Pakistan, Government of Pakistan vide Notification No.F.2(18)/2018-Cord, dated 04.06.2018 in exercise of powers conferred upon it under Articles 218 of the Constitution read with Section 5(4) read with Section 230 (f) of the Election Act, 2017, has been pleased to direct Federal and all Provincial Governments that:
The postings / transfers, which were made after issuance of election programmer i.e. 31st May, 2018, stand cancelled ab-initio and Compliance report be submitted;
Send proposals of postings / transfer, if so required expedient in public interest, of Officers / Officials for considered of the Election Commission.
All the concerned are, therefore, directed to adhere to the above directions of the Election Commission of Pakistan letter & sprit and also such direction to the lower formation, for strict compliance.
