Office of the Accountant General Punjab has issued letter on 03-10-2018 in connection with Payment Inspection Allowance Punjab School Education Department. Summary is as under:

It has been observed that the orders of Government of the Punjab, School Education department issued vide No.SO(Budget)1-15/2013 (Vol-II) dated 15.01.2018, regarding payment of Inspection Allowance @ Rs.25,600/- P.M. to the male/female Assistant Education Officers working in School Education Department are not observed in true letter & Spirit. The above said allowance was to be allowed on monthly basis subject to the verifiable Kay Performance Indicators developed by School Education Department but some Dao`s allowed this allowance to the Assistant Education Officers with the pay of the officers, which is inconsistent with the rules and procedure.
