Lahore High Court Lahore has issued Notification on 02-11-2018 in connection with Evening Courts in Punjab. Detail is as under:

In exercise of the powers conferred by Lahore High Court Rules & Orders, Volume-I, Chapter-I, Rules-I; the Hon’ble Chief Justice and Judges have been pleased to approve the functioning of First ‘Evening Court’ and as such declare one existing Court at the district Lahore; also to extend this project to as many evening courts as may be required in other districts of Punjab for expeditious decision of family cases under the West Pakistan Family Courts Act, 1964 and the Guardians & Wards Act 1890, to secure the welfare of the minors and further to protect the best interest of litigant public. The first Evening Court shall start its working at Lahore and hear cases under the West Pakistan Family Courts Act, 1964 and Guardians & Wards Act, 1890 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with immediate effect.
