Punjab Local Government Board, Local Government Complex Lahore
has issued Notification on 25-02-2019 in connection with Re-designation of the
Post of Assistant Superintendent as Assistant (BPS-16). Detail is as under:
No.LCS(Gen)-7/(122)/UP-gradation(Clerical)/2016: Pursuant to the
decision of Punjab Local Govt. Board taken in its meeting held on 18.02.2019,
circular letter bearing No. FD.PC.40-43/2017(A) dated 14.12.2018 issued by
Finance Department, Government of the Punjab is hereby adopted to the extend of
re-designation of post of Assistant Superintendent as Assistant(BS-16),PLGB
being higher tier of Assistant Superintendent shall stand omitted from the
Schedule of Establishment of PLGB appended with the Punjab Local Govt. Board
Employees (Appointment & Conditions of Service) Regulation, 2007.
2. The incumbents of the re-designed posts will also stand upgraded and their pay will be fixed at the stage next above their basic pay in their lower pay scales. No premature increment is admissible on re-designation of post in term of policy of Punjab Government.
3. The expenditure
incurred on the said re-designation of post shall be borne by the Punjab Local
Government Board.
