The LHC Decision Regarding Upgradation Computer Operator from BPS-11 to BPS-16

I am sharing the detail of the LHC Decision Regarding Upgradation Computer Operator from BPS-11 to BPS-16 that was issued on 11-03-2019. Detail is as under:

Through instant petition, petitioners have assailed orders dated 06.03.2014 and 15.06.2016, passed by respondent No.3 / Government of the Punjab, Finance Department, Lahore, whereby proposal / working paper for upgadation of their post i.e. Computer Operators from BS-11 to BS-16 in Water Managemnet Wing of Agriculture Department and subsequent representation of petitioners, in this regard, were rejected, respectively, with the following prayer:-

“It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that instant writ petition may very kindly be accepted, the impugned order dated 06.03.2014, issued by the respondent No.3 / Secretary Finance, Government of the Punjab, regarding rejecting the proposal / working paper for upgrading of the post of Computer Operators from BS-11 to BS-16 and impugned order dated 15.06.2016, issued by the respondent No. 3 / Secretary, Finance regarding rejecting the representation of the petitioners for upgradation of post of Computer Operator from BS-11 to BS-16 in Water Management Wing of Agriculture Department and not approving the recommendation of the Director General, Water Management / respondent No. 2 regarding up-gradation of the post of Computer Operators from BS-11 to BS-16, may very kindly be declared as illegal, unlawful, discriminatory, violative to fundamental rights be set aside and reversed and the respondents may very kindly be directed to implement the recommendations of the  Director General, water Management from BS-11 to BS-16, without any further loss of time, in the interest justice.”
