Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued
Notification on 15-05-2019 in connection with Advance Pay for the Month of May
2019 for Punjab Government Employees. Detail is as under:
In the wake of 1st & 2nd June,
2019 (Saturday & Sunday), being Gazetted holidays, Governor of the Punjab
is pleased to approve that pay & pension of Government employees / pensioners
of Government of the Punjab may be disbursed on 31st May, 2019
positively as provided in Note -1 below Rule 5.1 (2) (e), Punjab Financial
Rules Vol-I.
2. You are
requested to take further necessary action accordingly for disbursement of pay
& pension on 31st May, 2019 positively.
