Punjab School Education Department has issued the Notification of the Promotion of Officers/Teachers (Male) General Cadre with immediate effect. Notification No. SO (S-VI) 6-8/2012 dated 15th April 2013 has been issued in this regard.
Consequent upon the approval of the recommendations made by the Provincial Selection Board-II in its meeting held on 05-03-2013 officers/teachers of BPS-18 (General Cadre-Male) of School Education Department have been promoted to BPS-19 on regular basis with immediate effect. However their posting/adjustments orders shall be issued separately, within due course of time.
If any officer fails to join his new assignment within 15 days after issuance of his posting orders separately, he shall be deems to have forgone his promotion. The effect of forging of promotion entails suspension as clarified in promotion policy 2010 notified by the Government vide No. SOR-II (S& GAD) 2-134/2010 dated 11-08-2010.
