GP Fund Interest Rates for the Financial Years 2012-13

Govt of Pakistan Finance Division, Regulation Wing Islamabad has issued Notification No. F.2 (1)-Reg.7/2010 dated 19th July 2013 in connection with the revised rates of GP Fund & CP Fund for the year 2012-2013. The new rates are 12%. The rates of the General Provident Fund and the Contributory Provident Fund for the financial year 2011-12 were 13.70%.

Necessary instructions for the various Provident Funds interest rates for the balances under the control of Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Railways will be issued separately by these ministries. A Post delivered by Mr. Atiq Rehman & Mr. Tahir Afzal.

    AoA What is the meaning of CP Fund and what is the difference between GPF and CPF

    • Dear Abdul Sajid CP Fund means Contributory Provident Fund. I am not aware about the difference of these two.
