Government of the Pakistan Finance Division, Islamabad has issued Notification No. F.1(5)R-10/2010-98 dated 24th April 2014 in connection with the Traveling Facility by Air in Place of Steamer by the Officers of BPS-17 & Above On their Retirement.
The paragraph No. 17 of Finance Division’s O.M No. F.2(1)-Rev.1/72 dated 20th December 1972 has been amended from time to time and now it has been decided to amend the paragraph No. 17 (a) of the above mentioned Notification.

Actual Fare by Rail or Steamer of the class to which he was entitled immediately before his retirement for himself and for each member of his family. For journeys by Road between places not connected by rail or steamer, mileage allowance shall be allowed.
Actual fare by rail or air of the class to which he was entitled immediately before his retirement for himself and for each member of the family. For Journeys by road mileage allowance shall be allowed at the rates applicable at the time of drawl of the claim.
These orders are effective with immediate effect. No extra funds will be provided.
