Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has announced the financial budget 2014-15. There is also increase in salaries and pension for the employees of KPK in this budget. According to the budget speech the following pay and allowances as well as pension increase has been announced.
Increase in Salaries for KPK Employees in 2014-15 Budget
10% Adhoc Relief Allowance 2014 with effect from 01-07-2014
20% increase in Medical Allowance for the Employees of BPS-01 to BPS-15 wef 01-07-2014
5% increase in Conveyance Allowance for the Employees of BPS-01 to BPS-15 wef 01-07-2014
Grant of Premature Increment for the Employees of BPS-01 to BPS-04
16000 No. of Clerical Staff have been upgraded.
Committee for the Service Structure of the Employees
For the service structure, up-gradation and other packages for the employees, a committee headed by the Chief Secretary KPK has been constituted. This committee will forward its recommendations in three months.
Minimum Wages for the Labourers
Minimum 12000/- per month salary has been fixed for the labourers.
Increase in Pension for the KPK Pensioners
10% in crease in pension for the KPK pensioners has been announced.
Minimum pension has been fixed from 5000 PM to 6000 Per Month.
12000 per month Ardali Allowance has been fixed for the retired employees of BPS-20 & above.

If PTI wanted to do something unique, they should not have increased salaries, it should have instead brought down the prices of essential commodities. By increasing salaries a limited number of people benefits but with price control the entire popilation of KPK. Similarly nothing has been done for senior citizens. I suggest 50 % rebate should be given to people above 60 years of age on their arms and 800 CC motor vehicle renewal fees.

KPK government nay Punjab ki nisbat bohut acha budget paish kia hy. isi mulazim dost budget keh sakta hy. KPK k tamam clerks, supt, asistants ko upgrade kia hy. abi ek comittee by banaya hy. its a good move.
