Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.PC.39-14/77 (Pt.IV)(APCA/2008) dated 17th June 2014 in connection with Promotion of the Lower Grade Employees of Punjab with effect from 1st July 2014.
According to this Notification, the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-04 are entitled to one step promotion to the next higher scale twice in their service.
One next step promotion is after 10 years regular service and the other one is after 20 years service. Full detail is available at the copy of the Notification. In 2007 BPS-1 to 4 just moved up and their pay fixed in next stage without granting pre-mature increment.
Is there any reference whereby they can be granted one premature increment or else?
