Government of the Punjab, Local Government & Community Development Department has issued Notification No. SOR(LG) 38-5/2014 dated 01-01-2017 in connection with Establishment District Education Authority in Each District of Punjab.
According to this Notification, in exercise of the powers conferred under section (1) of section 17 and subsection (3) of section 30 of the Punjab Local Government Act 2013 (XVIII of 2013), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to:
Establish District Education Authority in each District with immediate effect; and
Appoint the Deputy Commissioner of the District as Administrative of the said Authority with immediate effect.
