Government of the Punjab School Education Department has issued Notification on 08-02-2018 in connection with Notification of Senior Most School Teacher as Headmaster. Detail is as under:

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to convey that the Competent Authority has directed that no Primary/Elementary/High/Higher Secondary School will to left without Headmaster/Headmistress/Sr. Headmaster/Sr. Headmistress/Principal.

I am therefore directed to convey that instead of assigning additional charge of Headmaster/Headmistress/Sr. Headmaster/Sr. Headmistress/Principal, the senior most teacher from the same institution may be posted as Headmaster/Headmistress/Sr. Headmaster/Sr. Headmistress/Principal against the vacant post on his/her own pay & scale, keeping in view seniority/cum fitness till the posting of regular incumbents or further orders.

A certificate to the effect that no institution without proper posting of Headmaster/Headmistress/Sr. Headmaster/Sr. Headmistress/Principal is running in your district should be provided to this office on or before 15-02-2018.
