Employees Old Age Benefits Institution Regional Office Multan has issued letter on 01-02-2018 in connection with Notification of Registration of Private Schools with EOBI. Summary is as under:

As you may be aware that the employees Old Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) is a statutory body established under EOB Act 1976 envisaged by the Parliament of Pakistan to cater the pension benefits to the employees of industrial, commercial and other establishments to fulfill the responsibility of the state as   enshrined under   the Article 38 (c) of the constitution of   the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The EOB Act 1976 is applicable to all the establishments employing five or more persons whether directly or through other person, for wages or otherwise from the day the number of employees reaches to five or more. Presently the EOBI is providing following benefits to its eligible insured person:

Old Age Pension

Old Age Grant

Widow/Survivor Pension

Invalidity Pension
