Government of the Punjab Chief Minister’s Monitoring Force School Education Department has issued Notification on 02-08-2018 in connection with Observance Independence Day 14^th August 2018. Detail is as under:

As You are aware that the Government at National as well Provincial level is celebrating Independence Day on 14^th August to promote patriotism and national unity by holding flag hoisting ceremonies, seminars etc across the country.

It has been desired by the authority that the School Education Department with the same zeal and zest, shall celebrate the Day of Indendence on 14^th August, 2018 in all offices and public schools, The activities to be organized in offices/public schools, shall comprise the following events-

i) Flag Hoisting ceremony

ii) Qirat

iii) Naat Khawni

iv) Speeches

v) Milli Naghme

vi) Display of National flag badge on dress form 01^st Aug to 14^th

1. It is therefore, requested that all offices / heads of educational institutions may be directed for observance of Independence Day-14^th August, in letter and spirit.
