Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification on 07-08-2018 in connection with GP Fund Interest Rates Punjab 2017-18. Detail is as under:
I am directed to refer to this department`s letter of even number dated August 21, 2017 on the subject cited above and state that it has been decided that the rate of profit of 11.70% per annum, will apply during the financial year 2017-2018, to the State Provident Fund i.e. General Provident Fund. This rate, however, would not apply in the case of subscribers who are entitled, under the rules of a particular fund, to different rate of interest.
if the deduction of GP fund is missing for 05-years (in the middle of service period) for unknown reasons and then the deduction continues for the remaining years of service. whereas the service remains three years. what the rule says for this case ? Please explain it. it is my request.

I think there is no issue. The balance of the GP Fund will be calculated for the period, the GP Fund deducted.
