Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat (Services, General Administration and Cabinet Department) has issued Notification on 11-02-2019 in connection with Promotion of Oriental Teachers as SSTs. Summary is as under:

NO.SO(S)-1-1(60)/2017. The following Oriental Teachers (BS-16) of Education Department Gilgit-Baltistan are hereby promoted/upgraded to the posts of Secondary School Teachers (SST) (BS-17) on regular basis with effect from the date of DPC meetings i.e. 31-01-2019:

2.  They will be on promotion for a period of one year, extendable for a further period if one year under section 5 of sub section (2) of Gilgit-Baltistan Civil Servants Act, 2011. If no order is issued on expiry-of first year of probation, the probation shall be deemed to have been extended for a further period of one year.
