Notification of Approval of Adoption of Prime Minister’s Revised Assistance Package (Remaining Items)

National Transmission & Despatch Co Limited has issued Notification on 27-02-2019 in connection with Approval of Adoption of Prime Minister’s Revised Assistance Package (Remaining Items) for families of employees who die in service. Detail is as under:

Approval for Adoption of Prime Minister`s revised Assistance Package (remaining items) for families of employees who die in service.

Red: This office Notification No.NTDCL/CS/2329-37 dated 06.12.2016.

The Board of Directors National Transmission & Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) in its 150th meeting held on 25.02.2019 against item No. 20 has unanimously resolved and approved the adoption of following remaining items of the Prime Minister`s Assistance Package for NTDC employees who die in service w.e.f. 09.02.2015:

  • Payment of lump sum grant in case of employees in-service death upto Rs.3 Million as per following break-up:
BPS                  Amount
1-4 Rs.600,000
5-10 Rs.900,000
11-15 Rs.1,200,000
16-17 Rs.1,500,000
18-19 Rs.2,400,000
20 & above Rs.3,000,000
  • Payment of lump sum grant in lieu of plot subject to the condition that no plot had been allotted in the past as per scale given below:
BPS Amount
1-8 Rs.2Million
9-16 Rs.5 Million
17 & above Rs.7 Million

Note: The lump sum grant at sr.# (i) above will not be admissible to the family of deceased employees on account of fatal accident, however, ex-gratia grant to the rate of Rs.3 Million would be admissible to the family of the deceased on account of fatal accident as per this office Notification No.NTDC/CS/233-50 dated 27.02.2019.

  2. please update about the special secretariat allowance 20% 2013 basic. for the attached department case in the court. what is the current position of the case.

      1. No the financial assistance package is not applicable to utility stores directly because its a corporation and an autonomous body if the BOD adopts the package the its applicable for futher query plz feel free to contact Haider ali advocate 03045000033
