According to the Budget Speech 2019 on 14th June, Punjab Govt has not confirmed increase salaries and pension for the Govt employees and pensioners. Detail is as under:
There is no mention of the increase of salaries in the whole speech. I am sharing the budget speech copy. please read the copy and comment if any clue of increase in salary and pension for the Punjab Govt employees and pensioners.
Chances of Increase in Salaries for Punjab Govt Employees in Budget 2019-20
As there is no mention of pension and pay increase in budget 2019-20, however there are chances that the increase is expected same as Federal Govt Employees. For Federal Increase in salaries in Budget 2019-20 is as under:
Adhoc Relief Allowance 2019-20: Government has announced Adhoc Relief Allowance 2019-20 @ 10% for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-16.
For the employees of BPS-17 to BPS-20 there is only 5% increase in salaries.
For the employees of BPS-21 to BPS-22 there is no increase in salaries.
Minimum wages have been announced Rs. 17500/- per month.
