Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification on 19-07-2019 in connection with Special Conveyance Allowance 2019 Punjab Government. Detail is as under:
I am directed to refer to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to enhance the rate of Special Conveyance Allowance admissible to disable to enhance the rate of Special Conveyance Allowance admissible to disabled employees of Punjab Government from existing Rs.1,000/- per month to Rs.2000/- per month in addition at normal Conveyance Allowance, with effect from 1st July, 2019. Following terms and conditions will be applicable for admissibility of this allowance:
- It will be allowed to those Punjab Government employees who have been appointed against disable quota, or they have been declared/certified as disable by an authorized Medical Board thereafter during service.
- Employee will not get it during leave of any kind, except medical leave upto one month or casual leave of the concerned employee.
