Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Section Welfare-I) has issued Notification on 19-05-2020 in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2020 Punjab. The detail of this Notification is as under:
No. SOW-I(S&GAD)1-4/2018(P-III): In pursuance of Press release bearing No.01/01/2020-Public dated 16.05.2020 issued by Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan and in continuation of this department’s notification of even number dated 17.12.2019, it is notified for genera Information that 22nd May to 27th May 2020 (Friday to Wednesday), shall be Public Holidays, in the Province of Punjab, on the occasion of EID-UL-FITR, 1441 Hijri.
The above Press Release may be published In all major English and Urdu dailies both at the National and Regional level and be given wide publicity through electronic media.
22nd May 2020 = Friday
23rd May 2020 = Saturday
24th May 2020 = Sunday
25th May 2020 = Monday
26th May 2020 = Tuesday
27th May 2020 = Wedneday
Total = 6 Days Holiday
It is to inform you that the Federal Government Ministry of Interior has also issued the Notification for Eid Holiday. Federal Government also announced the same number of Holidays for its employees.
