Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued a Notification of Special Allowance 2021 Punjab on 07-07-2021 for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-19.
Notification of Special Allowance 2021 Punjab @ 25% of Pay
The Punjab Government has granted this special allowance instead of Disparity Reduction Allowance to the employees from Basic Pay Scale 01 to Basic Pay Scale No. 19.
The employees of Punjab getting 100% or more additional allowance will not get this allowance
The employees of the Punjab province will get this allowance with effect from 1st June 2021
The contract employees will also get this allowance
Employees getting lump-sum pay package will not get this allowance
The employees who are getting relevant basic pay scales along with the following allowances will get this allowance:
House Rent Allowance (HRA)
Conveyance Allowance (CA)
Medical Allowance (MA)
Adhoc Relief Allowances 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019

Chart of Salary Increase Punjab 2021-22
As per the chart, Punjab Govt increased the salaries of the employees of Punjab at a reasonable level. Sindh Government has issued Notification of Adhoc Relief Allowance @ 20% for the employees of Sindh Province. Punjab Govt has not yet issued the same. That we can see very soon. The Punjab Government has announced in Budget Speech 2021 that the employees of the province of Punjab will get 10% Adhoc Relief Allowance 2021 wef 1st July 2021. After getting 2 allowances ARA 2021 and Special Allowance, Punjab employees will get an average 25% increase in salaries. The new entrants will get 35% increase while the employees at the last stage of pay scales will get about a 22% increase. I have prepared Punjab Salary Increase Chart as per Budget Speech 2021-22. The employees can check their actual increase in pay from this chart.

need clarifiction that if a junior clerk is transferred from multan zone in 2013 to lahore zone whether his name will be included in the seniority list of junior clerks now so under what condions. Pertinent to mention that he is silent about his lien. Kindly advise.
I am also clerk in gujrat universitiy according to notification its a autonomous body and the allowance will not given to us why we are not under apca. Please guide

I am of the opinion that the allowance is not admissible to employees who are taking lump sum pay package either they are employees of the Punjab government or autonomous bodies I e. universities. Rest of the universities employees are eligible for this allowance. Please endorse if I am right?

No, they will not get any kind of Disparity Reduction Allowance.
I was regularized from contract service in 2017 and difference in pay was adjusted as Personal Allowance. Am i eligible to get this DRA allowance?
Yes, you will get this allowance.
What about “University of Gujrat” employees who are NOT getting full Conveyance allowance and not any other allowance.
Local Governments (Municipal Committees) employees are admissible for the grant of 25% special allowance. According to Para No. 3 kindly clarify………..

I hope you will get this DRA as you are not getting any special allowance equal or more to 100%.

According to my knowledge, he’ll lose his seniority.

Yes, they will get this allowance.
All Universities are Autonomous bodies why their employees neglected by the Punjab Government.
These employees should also be given this allowance too.
Head teachers in primary schools are getting 500 allowance. Are they eligible for this special allowance ?
I think they will get this as the same is not 100% or more special allowance.
Please also read Point number 3 “autonomous bodies ” are not eligible.
