Government of the Punjab School Education Department is launching School Milk Program Punjab Province. This is a good step of the provincial Government of Punjab. The details of this program are as under:
School Milk Program Punjab School Education Department
School Education Department will provide milk to the primary school children on daily basis. The students of primary schools will get the milk free of cost. This program, the Punjab SED has launched in steps.
First Step of the Programme
The summary for the 1st step is as under:
Period of Milk Provision: 6 months
District: Sheikhupura and Attock
Total Number of Primary Schools: 89 Primary Schools
The Government of Punjab has taken a serious step. You know that milk is not available for most of the children at home. The reason for the same is that the families cannot bear the expenses of the essential milk for their children. In this way, the Government of Punjab is providing an opportunity for the children to have milk.
In other steps, the School Education Department will spread the program to other districts too. Other provincial Governments should also follow the Punjab Government. I hope this program will really be very helpful for the health of the students of the lower classes.
