Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has issued Notification Special Allowance 2021 @ 25% to Employees of University of Mianwali. The HED issued the said allowance on the initial of Basic Pay Scales 2017 on 01-07-2022 for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-19 only.

The Governor / Chancellor has been pleased to approve the grant of Special Allowance 2021 @ 25% of the initial of Basic Pay Scale, 2017. This allowance is for the employees of the University of Mainwali, from BS-1 to BS-19 with immediate effect as per the following conditions:
Conditions for the Allowance
The Special Allowance, 2021 will be admissible to only those employees of Public sector Universities in BS-01 to BS-09 who are drawing pay and allowances against relevant basic pay scale and are not drawing any service-specific or special allowance except usual allowances viz-a-viz House Rent, Medical Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, and Ad-hoc relief Allowance-2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019.
The Allowance will not be admissible to those employees who are drawing fixed / lump sum pay packages or on the tenure track system.
The concerned Public Sector University shall arrange the additional impact, if any, within their available resources and no additional grant will be provided by the Government of Punjab for the subject purpose.
To copy with additional expenditures, the Public Sector Universities will not enhance fee structure.
The other conditions as laid down in para-1 of Government of the Punjab, Finance Department’s Notification No.FD.SR.V.3-1/2021, dated 07.07.2021 shall also be applicable.
