Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a circular on 02-09-2022 in connection with Teachers’ Illegal Practices for Transfer/ Posting. The details are as under:
Teachers’ Illegal Practices for Transfer/ Posting in Punjab
School Education Department (SED), Government of Punjab (GoP), has released a circular for the concerned teachers who are using illegal weapons to get Posting/ transfer. They are warned against such activities.

Circular related to Teachers applying for Posting or requesting for Transfer:
The Section Officer (SE-IV) School Education Department, Government of Punjab, has released a circular dated 02 September 2022. The circular is regarded to such teachers who are using foul means to get Posting/ transfer or have been pressurizing authorities for their own wanted opportunity. These foul and illegal practices are not acceptable at all to the School Education Department (Government of Punjab).

As said by the Section Officer in the circular, School Education Department has noticed that some teachers applying for transfer through the School Information System (SIS) tend to conceal the fact that they already have gained opportunities by SIS (School Information System).
Warning by School Education Department for Teacher:
It is said in the circular by SED (School Education Department) that such teachers are being observed and strictly noticed. If anyone will be found going out of the law and caught doing illegal practices and using foul means to get Posting/ transfer, necessary action will be taken against such and he/she will be held accountable and will have to face disciplinary actions. So, the teachers should avoid such illegal practices otherwise they shall have to face strict actions by the department.
Legal Mode of posting/transfer
The only mode of transfer/posting is going through SIS (School Information System). The teachers or applicants should fulfill some of the requirements by SIS. They have to enclose the documentary evidence of all previous applications. That they made through the School Information System (SIS) along with the applications
The copies of the circular the department has sent to all concerned authorities. The department has informed all the teachers using different means of communication.
