Disbursement of Pay & Allowances and Pension for the Month of December 2022 in Advance on account of Christmas to Government servants and pensioners belonging to the Christian Community.
The Governor of Punjab is pleased to disbursement of pay and allowances and pension for the month of December 2022, in advance on 19th December 2022 on account of Christmas to the Govt employees and pensioners belonging to the Christian Community in terms of Rule 5.1 (1)-f and 5.2 (3) respectively of the Punjab Financial Rules, Volume-I.
Forgoing in view, you are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for the disbursement of pay and allowances and pension on 19-12-2022 positively.
Good Action for Christian Community
This is a good action for the Christian community. All Governments do this action before Christmas. In this way, the employees belonging to Christian Community will do the shopping for Christmas in a better way and well before the time. All other Governments like Federal, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Balochistan, Sindh, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) will also pay salaries in advance for the month of December 2022 well before the time to facilitate the employees. All Governments also do the same action for the Muslims when there is Eid-ul-Azha or Eid-ul-Fitr.
