Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department issued a Notification on 16-12-2022 in connection with Winter Holidays 2022 Special Education Department Punjab. The details are as under:

Winter Holidays 2022 Special Education Department Punjab

The Special Education Schools will remain closed with effect from 24^th Dec 2022 to 31^st Dec 2022 in plain areas and in hilly areas with effect from 20^th Dec 2022 to 4^th March 2023.

All the educational boards are issuing the schedule for Winter vacations for their subordinate institutions. School Education Punjab,  School Education, and Literacy Department Sindh and Federal Government,  release the dates regarding the Winter Vacations this year. The Winter Vacation usually falls in December every year. This year the winter vacations shall start at the end of December in each province. The vacations shall end on the Last date of December for some boards. Some boards shall resume their activities on 2^nd January 2023.

Special Education Department Punjab also issues the schedule.  The schedule is different for hilly areas than for other areas.

All the private and government Institutes for Special Education shall remain closed as per schedule in both hilly and Non- hilly areas.

These institutes shall open after the closure of the schedule for winter vacations. Then they shall work normally as per the normal schedule. The board restricts the students from wearing masks. The degree Colleges and Pre-Services Training Colleges shall follow the schedule of their affiliating bodies.

Federal Directorate of Education, Punjab, Sindh Government, and KPK Government Education Departments have also issued Notifications for winter vacation 2022.
