Government of Sindh, Services, General Administration & Coordination Department issued a Notification on 27-4-2023 in connection with Notification Holiday on 1st May 2023 Labour Day in Sindh province. The details are as under:

The government of Sindh announces Public Holiday around the Sindh province. Sindh Government declares holiday in relation to Labour Day. Hence, Public offices and institutions shall remain closed on Labour Day. Here are the details
Labour Day is celebrated around the country on 1st May each year. The government of Sindh declares Public Holiday in Sindh province on Labour Day 2023. It shall be celebrated on 1st May 2023. So, all the Government offices shall remain closed on Monday, 1st May 2023. In Relation to Labour Day, all the Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Council, under the administrative control of the Government of Sindh, shall not function. All these offices shall remain closed. Only essential services shall be available on this day.
Federal Government and Other Provinces
All other provinces and Federal Government employees will also observe this holiday as this holiday is also included in the schedule of public and optional holidays 2023 in Pakistan. The Federal Government employee will observe the following three continuous holidays:
