Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a Notification on 10-06-2024 in connection with the Rehabilitation of Play Grounds 2024. The details are as follows:
Rehabilitation of Play Grounds 2024 by School Education Department Punjab
Kindly refer to this office No. DD(M)/Tree Plantation/ 2024, dated 03rd June 2024 regarding the implementation of directions to make schools friendly. Moreover, this is to inform you that competent authority has desired to follow the following timelines for the rehabilitation of playgrounds:-

I am directed to request you to implement the above-mentioned directions in true letter and spirit and also disseminate the direction at all levels for its successful completion. No laxity will be tolerated in this regard.

Punjab Government has already issued the Notification regarding permission to use school grounds for sports activities.
This is a good step for the Government of the Punjab. This action will really facilitate the students. They will have now a proper place for their games.
