Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department issued a Notification on 23-07-2024 in connection with Utility Allowance 2024 KPK for employees of BPS-03 to BPS-18. The details are as follows:

Utility Allowance 2024 KPK for employees of BPS-03 to BPS-18

No. FD (SOSR-IB) / 3-21 / 2024 / Utility Allowance: in pursuance of the decision of the Provincial Cabinet in its special budget meeting held on 24-05-2024, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to grant Utility Allowance at fixed rate to the Employees of Civil Secretariat Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa form (BS-03 to BS-18) w.e.f. 1s July 2024 as per the following:-

Basic Conditions

• Further, Utility Allowance be granted @ of Rs.18000/- per month to 07 Secretariat employees in BS-19 (04 Additional Private Secretaries, 03 officers of the Legislation Wing of Law Department), who do not draw any cards-specific Allowance (s) above 100% of basic pay.

The above allowance will be admissible subject to the following conditions:-

• Will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of pension/gratuity.
• Will cease to be admissible on positing/transfer of employees outside Civil Secretariat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• It will not be subject to income tax.

• PSO to Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• All Section Officers / Budget Officers in Fiacne Departement Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• The Manager, Government Printing Press Peshawar.
• PS to Secretary to Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Fiance Departement.
• PS to Special Section (A7 R), Finance Department.

On 23rg July 2024 Finance Department KP also issued the Notification of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 KPK for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-22. In addition to that the FD KPK also issued the Notification of Pension Increase 2024 for the pensioners.
