The rates mentioned in the summary are high. The concerned department should reduce hiring rates and re-submit the fresh summary for approval.

The latest Updates on the Increase in House Hiring for Government Employees

As per the Dunya news, the Ministry of Finance has approved a 73 to 110 percent increase in house hiring of federal employees and sent the summary of budget proposals to the Ministry of Housing and Works by making a new proposal to estimate the budget and reduce the rate of increase   The Housing Ministry had sent the summary to the Finance Ministry for approval. The Ministry of Finance directed the Ministry of Housing to estimate the increase in the annual budget of the Ministries due to the increase in hiring of employees. It said that the increase of 73 to 110 percent is excessive.

               The Finance Ministry directed to resubmit the summary by preparing a new proposal for an appropriate rate hike. According to the summary sent by the Ministry of Housing and Resources, the State office had conducted a rent survey of government and commercial houses in six cities, according to which the rent of commercial dwellings has increased by 73 to 110 percent compared to the government rate. There is a need to revise the official hiring rate for which the Ministry of Finance should give its opinion and approval. The Ministry of Finance summarized its opinion and has been back to the Ministry of Housing after making suggestions.
