Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 04-06-2025 in connection with Clarification of Life Certificate / No Marriage Certificate Financial Assistance to the Family of the civil servants who die while in service. The details are as follows:
Clarification of Life Certificate / No Marriage Certificate, Financial Assistance to the Family
According to the Notification, I am directed to refer to this Department’s police letter bearing No.FD, SR-1/3-10/2004, dated 15-08-2017 on the subject cited above and state that a question has arisen as o whether the entitled level heir(s) who are drawing month salary against the posts of the OSD, crated due to the in service death of a civil servant though Direct Credit System (DCS), shall produce a life certificate / no marriage certificate to the Accountant General, Punjab/DAO, as the case may be, bi-annually, I the prescribed Forms-C and C-1 respectively in person or though his banker or otherwise.
The case have been examined an it is clarified that the entailed level heir(s), wo are drawing monthly salary against the post of the OSD crated due to in service death of civil servant though direct Credit system (DCS), in terms of above referred policy letters shall produce a life certificate / no marriage certificate, as the case ma b, to the accountant General, Punjab/DAO, as the case may be, be-annually, in the prescribed Forms-C and C-1 respectively in person or though his banker (Copes enclosed)

A copy is awarded for information and necessary action to the following offices:-
- Accountant General, Punjab, Lahore.
- All District Accounts Officers in the Punjab.
- The Treasury Officer, Lahore
- The Superintendent, Governor Printing Press, Punjab, Lahore, with the request to publish in the office gazette.
