The rates and the conditions of the Motor Cycle Advance, Motor Car Advance and Bicycle Advances have been revised/amended wef 01-07-2012 vide Government of Pakistan, Finance Division (Regulation Wing) Ltr No.No. F.8 (2)-Reg.7/87(Vol.11)-288 dated 20th July, 2012

Revision of Motor Cycle, Motor Car, and Bicycle Advances

 

The revised eligibility criteria for the grant of Bicycle Advance. Motor Cycle Advance and Motor Car Advance, w.e.f.  01.07.2012 is as follows: –

1	Bicycle Advance	On Pay upto Rs. 7,500/- PM	Rs. 7,000/-
2	Motorcycle Scooter Advance	On pay between Rs.7,501/- to Rs. 19,999/-	Rs. 75,000/-
3	Motor Car Advance	On Pay Rs. 20,000/- PM and above	Rs. 450,000/-

2  It has also been decided that the names of officials who are already on the waiting lists for the above-referred advances may not be deleted from the said lists. The other conditions on the subject will continue to be in force as before.

Here is to mention that the Motorcycle, Motor Car, and Bicycle Advances were granted according to the Basic Pay Scale vide Finance Div Ltr No. f.8 (2) –Reg.7/87/Vol.II)-328 dated 12 December 2011. But now the condition of Basic Pay Scale and the new condition is only of Basic Pay, not Pay Scale. Earlier, Motor Car was admissible to BPS-17 and above, Motor Cycle Advance was admissible to BPS-05 to BPS-16, and Cycle Advance was admissible to BPS-01 to BPS-04.
