According to the sources, Punjab Govt has decided to announce Arts Teachers Vacancies in Punjab Schools. The appointment of these Arts Teachers is expected in January 2013. There are recommendations that the quota for the Arts Teachers in appointment and promotion be increased upto 50%.
Education Department of Punjab has recommended that for the improvement of Arts Group there should be 50% quota for arts teachers in appointment and promotion. It is decided that equal quota will be granted arts teachers.
