Govt of the Punjab Higher Education Department has regularized 1124 female lecturers BPS-17 who were working on contract basis and were appointed through Punjab Public Service Commission in 2009. These female lecturers are regularized with immediate effect vide Notification No. S.O.(CE-III)61-18/2010(18) dated 5th January 2013. They are allowed to work at their present place of posting.
The service period of these contract lecturers will not be counted for any purpose i.e Pension, Leave or Gratuity etc. The pay of these employees being appointed in the Basic Pay Scales will be fixed at the initial stage of the respective pay scales and the increments they already taken during the contract period will be converted into their personal pay.
These employees will be placed at the bottom of the seniority list of the members of the cadre to which they belong. For full details just read the notification.
