Finance Division Regulation Wing Islamabad has already issued a Notification dated 2nd November 2005 in connection with Usual Increment in the year of retirement to the pensioners retired prior to 1998. These pensioners were not granted usual increment even they had completed 6 months in their present scale at that time.
In this notification it is stated that the benefit of Usual Increment in the year of retirement allowed vide Finance Division‘s OM No. F.3 (2) R-2/98 dated 08-09-1999 and 29-12-1999 may be extended to Civil Servants who are paid out Defence Estimates, irrespective of the cut off date of the year of 1998, subject to the following conditions:-
- All such cases may be examined and disposed of one case to case basis, after verification from original record, if the applicant applies through proper channel.
- He had completed six months service in the year of retirement and had not reached the maximum of his pay scale.

The date of superannuation and SOD is 31st May 2019 afternoon
I have served 6 months from 1st of December 2018 to 31st of May 2019
Am I eligible for the increment? Please guide me in this regard

Date of retirement 1st June 2019

Pension is being continuously received w.e.f 1st June 2019
if your date of retirement is 31st May 2021 then you are not eligible for Usual Increment.

please help me my father died on 15-03-1998 he was sindh govt employee of bps-19
at the time of his dead he is on maximum of his scale from last 18 months.
there is any advantage on his pension.

This facility was not given to armed forces personnel who retired before 1998. Can you held in this connection.
