        1. I’m sorry I didn’t know that u had no experience of civil service. I won’t have pressed u further. Dear Shumaila…u r doing good work…unfortunately our accounts department are just ‘lakir ke faqir’. They do everything and unable to respond to our queries…Keep up your good work…u need not reply this…

  4. Dear Sister, hope you would be fine and doing great guns. I would like to have your expert on the following issue. In our department being one of the biggest government organization, Account deptt (CMA) is not clearing the cases of anomaly, particularly for those servants, who have availed advance increments on higher qualification basis. This has created an embarrassing situation for all the employes, stance of CMA is re-produced below;

    Quote ” The following points was referred to MAG for clarification;
    i). The senior/junior have different pay scales before removal of anomaly
    ii). The senior/junior have different length of service
    iii). The senior/junior have availed personal benefit i.e. advance increments
    iv). The senior/junior have already availed the benefit of anomaly.

    They further intimated that MAG have cleared point (a, b & d) above except ‘c’ which has again been referred to MAG. This has been informed by CMA on 20-11-2009.

    Sister, but after a lapse of almost more than 04 x years the advance increments hitch is still not cleared and servants are being deprived from their genuine right of anomaly.

    Sister, I need your kind help to guide us what is the factual position in this regards. Are such cases are being dealt in your other account deptts or otherwise.

    Sister, I along with all other such employees would be highly thankful to you.

    My sincere regards.

      1. Many thanks, but sorry to say that you did not understand the issue. I want to ask you if in your department or in CMA, are they dealing anomaly cases of those employees who have availed advance increments benefit for higher education or not, it is so simple. Kindly do reply.

        My regards.

  5. i was promoted from bps-18 to 19 during november 2011. i took charge in bs-19 on 10/11/11. i was earning a basic pay of rs. 26000/- in bs-18 at the time of promotion. however, when my pay was fixed, i was granted basic pay of rs. 31000/– in bs-19. the account office did not give me any increment or premature increment. the reason is that there is difference of more than 5000/- in the basic pays of bs-18 and19. so my pay could not be fixed at any stage of bs-19. moreover, i had not served for more that six months in bs-19. but i should have been granted increment of bs-18 (rs. 1500) because i had served in bs-18 for more that six months…moreover annual increment could not be refused at any cost…what do u say?

    Reply
    1. Dear Ejaz you are not eligible for the premature increment as the difference is more than the annul increment of BPS-19. However if you get the annual increment by using OPTION, then u ll also have no advantage of it as after using option ur pay will also fix at the initial of BPS-19. You will not get the Annual increment in BPS-19 as ur service is less than 6 months in BPS-19 at the time of Annual Increment.

      1. Dear mam,

        In the Chart there is no detail about ARA 2010 and ARA 2011. In Chart there is the detail of ARA 2012 and ARA 2013 only. But being new enterant into Govt. Department i am taking ARA 2010 and 2011because these are not frozen for new enterant. So i am Taking ARA 2010,2011,2012,2013. for BPS-07. So, please guide me in detalis???? ARA 2010 and 2011 will increase or not????

        Reply
        1. Dear Shahzad Saleem, ARA 2010 & 2011 has been frozen at the level of the basic pay scales 2008 and there is no increase in these allowances with the increase of Basic Pay. However a new entrant will get these allowances at the rate of initial basic pay of the concerned 2008 pay scales.

  9. Respected Madam,

    Thanks for your guidance. I am a regular reader of your website. Kindly guide me whether the employees who have crossed the ceiling of their scales and getting personal pay would also get increase in the adhoc allowances of 2012 and 2013 ? Thanks.
